Girls’ Soccer: Panther Girls’ Look to Stay Perfect at Fort Madison

Fort Madison — The Mount Pleasant girls’ soccer team will aim to stay unblemished tonight when they travel to Fort Madison for a Southeast Conference match.

Mount Pleasant has started their season red hot, dispatching of Columbus, Fairfield and Burlington in succession.

The Panthers are led offensively by sophomore Andrea Lopreato, who has scored 10 goals in three games.

Elly Manning has scored six times, while Emma Pieper has ben rock solid in goal, with 15 saves.

Fort Madison, 1-2, is led by Brandy Walker — she’s scored four goals for the Hounds.

Tonight’s fixture will begin at 5:00 p.m. at Baxter Sports Complex in Fort Madison.
