Burlington — Mount Pleasant started hot, jumping out to a 1-0 lead, but it was Burlington who closed with a flurry — scoring three straight goals — earning a 3-1 win yesterday at Bracewell Stadium.
Elly Manning had the lone tally for Mount Pleasant, with Charice Auwerda assisting.
Evelyn Escobar made two saves in the loss.
Mount Pleasant, now 3-2, will host Fairfield Monday night.
