Donnellson — Danville showed out in a big way on the girls’ side, while New London dominated the boys’ events at yesterday’s Hawk Relays in Donnellson, hosted by Central Lee.

The Danville girls’ won 11 events, while Addison Parrott wore the triple crown.

Parrott again swept the distance races, winning the 800, 1500, and 3000m meter runs.

The Bears were named victors in six relays — the 4×100, 4×200, 4×400, 4×800 and both the sprint and distance medley.

Not to be outdone on the boys’ ledger, New London also won 11 events.

Seth Bailey paced the Tigers with wins in both the 800m and 1600m runs.

Josh Catala continued his ascension with another victory in the 200m dash, while Carter Allen — a Drake Relays participant — cruised to wins in both the shot and discus.

New London took wins in four relays, as well — the 4×200, 4×400, 4×800 and the distance medley.
