On September 28, 2022, at approximately 5:28 P.M., the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault that had occurred at the 300 block of South Main Street located in Salem.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered the suspect had fled the scene and with the assistance of the Iowa State Patrol was later located south of rural Salem.
Resulting from the investigation, Adam J. Warth, 41, of Salem, Iowa was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault – 3rd or Subsequent Offense – (D Felony), Willful Injury – Causing Serious Injury – (C Felony), Interference With Official Acts – (Serious Misdemeanor), and False Imprisonment (Serious Misdemeanor).
