Shots Fired Late Night Lead Burlington Police Department on Investigation

The Burlington Police Department is investigating a late night shooting resulting in property damage on Sunday.

Just before 11pm on December 3rd, officers responded to the area of Osborn and Corse Streets after several residents heard gunfire in the area. Officers spoke to a witness who said they heard the gunshots immediately followed by squealing tires. Officers discovered eleven shell casings in the street and a driveway of a residence in the 1500-block of Mark Lane. Two houses in the 1500-block of Osborn were damaged by projectiles fired from a gun. No one was injured in the shooting and the investigation is on-going.
