Official Canvass and Certification of Primary Election in Henry County Set For Tuesday, June 9 at 9 a.m.

Henry County officials are scheduled to meet on Tuesday to complete the official canvass of votes from the recent primary election.

The Henry County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday, June 9th at 9:00 a.m. at the courthouse in Mount Pleasant. The meeting will focus on reviewing and certifying results from the 2026 Henry County Primary Election.

According to the agenda, supervisors will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance and a roll call of members before moving into the formal canvass of votes. Following the review, the board is expected to certify the election results.

The meeting will also include a public comment period, where residents may address the board on items not listed on the agenda. Speakers are asked to state their name and address and are limited to three minutes.

The Board of Supervisors includes Chairman Chad White, Vice Chair Steven Detrick, and member Marc Lindeen.

The Henry County Supervisors will meet again on Thursday, June 11 at 9 a.m., which will include a public hearing for Fiscal Year 2026 Budget Amendments as well as their regular business meeting.
