KILJ — The Iowa Wesleyan-Greenville football game scheduled for Saturday, April 17th has been cancelled due to health and safety protocols, Iowa Wesleyan officials have announced.
Greenville’s program has had a positive or multiple positive tests within their roster which will not allow them to compete.
The Panthers were scheduled to travel to Bracewell Stadium to take on Wesleyan for the second time in three weeks.
Iowa Wesleyan officials were searching for a makeup game, but could not come up with a suitable opponent in the brief timeline needed logistically.
Instead, the Tigers will be off until Saturday, May 1st when they travel to Westminster.
