Salem Woman Arrested on Multiple Charges in Connection With Two Separate Incidents

On September 18th employees with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad called into the Henry County Sheriff’s Office reporting a female on the railroad tracks near Oakberry Avenue.  The employees stated the female appeared to be needing assistance.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the New London Police Department located a female near the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad tracks and Nebraska Avenue.  The female was identified as Sky Boecker, 37 of Salem, IA.  Sky was arrested for Trespass, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Railroad Vandalism.

Items located in Sky’s possession began another investigation.  Based on the items, it was determined Sky had entered two farm buildings in the 2400-grid of 250th Street.  While in the buildings, Sky removed several items.  Sky was also charged with two counts of Burglary in the Second Degree and Theft in the 5th degree.
