MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa — Henry County 4-H members recently participated in the annual Clothing and Communication Day, demonstrating their talents in clothing selection, fashion, public speaking, and educational presentations.
Youth were evaluated on their communication skills, creativity, confidence, and ability to apply knowledge learned through their 4-H experiences. Several members earned purple ribbon recognition and were selected to advance to the Iowa State Fair competition in August.

Henry County Extension and Outreach congratulates all participants on their hard work and achievements. The Iowa State Fair will be held August 13–23, where selected Henry County 4-H members will represent the county in state-level competition.
