August 29 The community is invited to a celebration and dedication of the new Saunders Park Plaza.  From 6 pm to 7:30 pm there will be an unveiling, comments from city leaders, a ribbon cutting, food and music. The plaza is located in Saunders Park across from the Mount Pleasant Family Aquatic Center.

August 30 The Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge serves tacos every Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm.  The Lodge is located at 108 N. Saunders Street.
